Issues of Interest

HKC hosted the Global Forum on Trade workshop in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 19 - 20 June 2002. The workshop aims at enhancing the OECD's ongoing dialogue with non-member economies on trade issues. The workshop attracted over 80 participants from 19 OECD members, 4 observers and 13 non-members, including representatives from non-governmental organizations as well as the private sector. The event has helped solidify our relationship with OECD and raise HKC's profile. The feedback from participants and the OECD Secretariat was very positive.
