APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Fora

Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is an inter-governmental forum comprising 21 economies in the Asia-Pacific Region. One of its priority tasks is to promote the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the region. The Trade and Industry Department participates actively in APEC SME Working Group to share with member economies knowledge and experience in promoting and facilitating the development of SMEs. The Trade and Industry Department also supports Hong Kong, China's participation in the SME Ministerial Meeting, which is a forum where all APEC ministers responsible for SMEs policy would discuss the direction of SMEs policies.
