Alteration of Conditions of Registration and Cancellation of Registration

The Director-General of Trade and Industry may at any time alter the conditions of registration of a stockholder. Where the Director-General of Trade and Industry alters the conditions of registration, the stockholder will be informed in writing accordingly.

The Director-General of Trade and Industry may cancel the registration of a stockholder who has contravened the conditions of registration. A stockholder's registration may be cancelled at the end of an import period if the Director-General of Trade and Industry has acceded to his request for cancellation which is submitted at least one month before the end of the import period. If the request being acceded to is submitted in less than one month before the end of the import period, the cancellation may only become effective at the end of the following import period.
