Requirement on the Carrier

For Exports

The owner of a vessel, aircraft or vehicle shall not accept any ozone depleting substances for export until there is produced to him a valid Export Licence or Import and Export Licence (for transhipment of cargo covered by a through bill of lading).

The owner of the vessel, aircraft or vehicle in or on which any ozone depleting substance is exported shall, within 14 days after the export of the consignment, deliver the Export Licence or Import and Export Licence to the Director-General of Trade and Industry together with the relevant manifest.
