Depleting Substances
Effect
of Shipment
Requirement
on the Exporter
An exporter shall,
before the export of any ozone depleting substances, deliver the Export
Licence or Import and Export Licence (for exporter of transhipment cargo covered by a through bill of lading) to the owner of the vessel, aircraft or vehicle in or on
which he intends to export the consignment.
As a condition of
issue of an Export Licence / Import and Export Licence, an exporter must lodge an export notification
with the Trade and Industry Department within 14 days after exportation.
Notifications should be supported by shipping documents like bills of
lading, packing list, invoices, etc.
