Ozone Depleting Substances

Conditions for Participation in Import and Export

Importers and exporters of ozone depleting substances listed in the Schedule to the Ozone Layer Protection Ordinance have to be registered with the Director of Environmental Protection under the Ozone Layer Protection Ordinance.

Application form for registration under the Ozone Layer Protection Ordinance can be obtained from the Non-Textiles Licensing Unit at Room 101A, 1/F, Trade and Industry Department Tower, 700 Nathan Road, Kowloon.

Renewal of registration of existing importers and exporters of ozone depleting substances normally takes place in October/ November every year.
