Electronic Service on Manifests

The electronic service for submission of manifests (EMAN)(excluding road mode of transport) became available on 11 April 2003 where the air, ocean, river and rail mode carriers could submit manifests to the Customs and Excise Department, the Census and Statistics Department, and the Trade and Industry Department in one go. Effective from 16 June 2006, all cargo manifests* must be submitted electronically.
