Certificate of Origin - Form A
A Certificate of Origin Form A, is also known as Generalized Preference Certificate, or simply as "Form A" . Currently, Hong Kong is a beneficiary under the Generalized Systems of Preferences (GSP) operated by Canada and the Russian Federation . Applications for GSP operated by these countries / places should be made on Form A . To qualify for a Form A, the goods concerned must satisfy both the origin rules of Hong Kong as well as those of the donor country. Please see Certificate of Preference Circular No.10/97 dated 13 September 1997 (pdf format) setting out the details of the requirements for Form A under the scheme operated by Canada and Certificate of Origin Circular No. 8/2004 Cum Certificate of Preference Circular No. 5/2004 dated 23 July 2004 for that of the Russian Federation.
