Introduction of Bilingual Forms for

Import Notification (Textiles) (TRA552)

Export Notification I (Textiles) (TRA550)

Export Notification II (Textiles) (TRA551)

Transhipment Notification (Textiles) (TRA553)

Introduction

This circular announces the introduction of bilingual forms for the above Textiles Notifications.

2. The above Textiles Notification Forms are all along printed in English only. From 14 January 2004 onwards, bilingual forms of these Textiles Notifications will be put on sale at the Collection and Form Sales Office on 1/F, Trade and Industry Department Tower, 700 Nathan Road, Kowloon once the existing English forms are sold out. The selling prices of the bilingual forms remain the same as the existing English forms.
   
   

3. Textiles Traders may submit Textiles Notifications using either the existing English forms or the new bilingual forms to cover their import, export or transhipment of textiles.

4. With immediate effect, Textiles Notification Forms TRA550, TRA551, TRA552 and TRA553 can be completed either all in Chinese or all in English, no matter whether the textiles are imported from or exported to the mainland of China, Taiwan and Macau. However, the name of the registered Textiles Trader must be given in English. Other requirements on the completion of Textiles Notifications as stipulated in the Textiles Trader Registration Circular No. 7/98 of 21 August 1998 remain unchanged.
