Rough Diamonds In Hong Kong : Revision of Fees
The Department issued
Rough Diamond Trader Registration Circular No. 1/2008 on 1 February
2008 to inform the trade of the Government's plan to revise the fees
for initial registration as a rough diamond trader and renewal of registration,
and issue of Kimberley Process (KP) Certificate (Import) and KP Certificate
(Export), with effect from 27 March 2008, subject to the passage of
the necessary legislative amendments by the Legislative Council.

This circular
informs the trade that the legislative amendment process has completed.
The revised fees below have been implemented with effect from 27
March 2008.
