Graduation of Hong Kong from Japan's Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) Scheme


Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 14/00 cum Certificate of Preference Circular No. 1/00 of 10 February 2000 and Certificate of Preference Circular No. 2/00 of 22 March 2000, the Department has received formal notification from the Consulate-General of Japan concerning the Enforcement of the Measure of Exclusion of the Japan's Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) Scheme. Hong Kong is excluded from the beneficiary list of Japan's GSP Scheme effective 1 April 2000.
