Commercial Information Circular No. 740/2017

European Union (EU)* : Withdrawal of the acceptance of the undertaking for one exporting producer offered in connection with the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy proceedings concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and key components (i.e. cells) originating in or consigned from the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circulars Nos. 970/2013 and 971/2013 of 5 December 2013, the European Commission (the Commission) has published an implementing regulation to withdraw the acceptance of the undertaking for one exporting producer offered in connection with the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy proceedings concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and key components (i.e. cells) originating in or consigned from the Mainland of China. 2.Shanghai Shenzhou New Energy Development Co. Ltd, together with its related companies in the Mainland of China, jointly covered by the TARIC additional code B875, notified the Commission that it wishes to withdraw from the undertaking. The Commission has therefore concluded that the acceptance of the undertaking for the exporting producer shall be withdrawn.
