European Union (EU)* : Approving Three Chemicals as Active Substances for Use in Relevant Biocidal Products

The European Commission has adopted three Regulations to approve chemicals (i) silicon dioxide Kieselguhr; (ii) pyrogenic, synthetic amorphous, nano, and surface treated silicon dioxide; and (iii) dichlofluanid as active substances for use in biocidal products of product-type 18 regarding chemicals (i) and (ii) above; as well as product-type 21 for chemical (iii) above.
