European Union (EU)* : Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 595/2012 dated 1 August 2012, the European Commission has adopted a Regulation to establish a common methodology for the calculation of the weight of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) placed on the market of each Member State and a common methodology for the calculation of the quantity of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) generated by weight in each Member State.
