Commercial Information Circular No. 385/2017

European Union (EU)* : Energy Labelling of Certain Energy-Related Products on the Use of Tolerances in Verification Procedures

Further to those Commercial Information Circulars issued between December 2010 and July 2015 on energy labelling, the European Commission has adopted a Regulation to amend a total of 15 Commission Delegated Regulations regarding the use of tolerances in verification procedures on certain energy-related products. These products include household dishwashers; household washing machines; household refrigerating appliances; televisions; air-conditioners; household tumble driers; electrical lamps and luminaires; vacuum cleaners; space heaters and combination heaters; water heaters, hot water storage tanks and packages of water heater and solar device; domestic ovens and range hoods; residential ventilation units; professional refrigerated storage cabinets; solid fuel local space heaters; as well as solid fuel boilers and packages of a solid fuel boiler, supplementary heaters, temperature controls and solar devices.
