Commercial Information Circular No. 194/2017

European Union (EU)* : Impending expiry of anti-dumping measures on imports of chamois leather originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1026/2012 of 6 December 2012, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of chamois leather (the product) originating in the Mainland of China. The notice is available at:

2.Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at midnight of 7 December 2017.

3.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the product originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 15 September 2006 at a rate of 58.9% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty.
