European Union (EU)* : Results of an Expiry Review of the Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of High Tenacity Yarn of Polyesters Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular Nos. 558/2010 of 2 December 2010 and 822/2016 of 31 October 2016, the European Commission ("the EC") has, after an expiry review, published an implementing regulation to maintain the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of high tenacity yarn of polyesters originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS

2.Salient points are set out below -

(a) Product : High tenacity yarn of polyesters (other than sewing thread), not put up for retail sale, including monofilament of less than 67 decitex, originating in the Mainland of China, currently falling within Combined Nomenclature (CN) code 5402 20 00.
(b) Rate of Duty : 9.8% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for 13 companies with individual duty rates ranging from 0% to 9.8%).
(c) Effective Date : 26 February 2017
(d) Duration : 5 years
