Commercial Information Circular No. 158/2017

European Union (EU)* : Extension of the definitive anti-dumping measures imposed on imports of certain aluminium foil originating in the Mainland of China to imports of certain slightly modified aluminium foil originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 488/2016 of 6 June 2016, the European Commission has published an implementing regulation to extend, with effect from 18 February 2017, the definitive anti-dumping measures imposed on imports of certain aluminium foil originating in the Mainland of China to imports of certain slightly modified aluminium foil, originating in the Mainland of China. The implementing regulation is available at:

2.The extended duty will be collected on imports of certain slightly modified aluminium foil, originating in the Mainland of China registered since 2 June 2016. This extension does not apply to a number of companies listed in Article one of the regulation provided that a valid commercial invoice is presented to the customs authorities. Customs authorities have been directed to discontinue the registration of such imports.
