European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission has adopted three Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of notepads consisting of plastic holders, paper and ballpoint pens; battery-powered toy locomotives and wooden track sets, as well as sweetener tablets composed of steviol glycosides, sodium carbonate, sodium citrate and leucine in order to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
