European Union (EU)* : Authorisation of Two Synthetics as Novel Food Ingredients
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1079/2017 dated 1 December 2017, the European Commission has adopted two Decisions to authorise the placing on the market of hydroxytyrosol and N-acetyl-D-neuraminic acid as novel food ingredients under Regulation (EC) No. 258/97 regarding novel foods and novel food ingredients.
