European Union (EU)* : Approving five Chemicals as Active Substances for Use in Relevant Biocidal Products
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 642/2017 dated 28 July 2017, the European Commission has adopted five Regulations to approve the following chemicals as active substances for use in relevant biocidal products:
- propan-1-ol for product-types 1, 2 and 4;
- L(+) lactic acid for product-types 2, 3 and 4;
-
fludioxonil for product-types 7, 9 and 10;
- 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one for product-type 12; and
- margosa extract, cold-pressed oil of Azadirachta indica seeds without shells extracted with super-critical carbon dioxide for product-type 19.
