European Union (EU)* : Amendments to Regulation on Food Additives

Further to Commercial Information Circular No 623/2013 dated 31 July 2013, the European Commission (the Commission) has adopted three Regulations to amend Annexes II and III of Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 regarding the use of neutral methacrylate copolymer and anionic methacrylate copolymer in solid food supplements; octenyl succinic acid modified gum arabic; and sucrose esters of fatty acids (E 473) in flavourings for water based clear flavoured drinks as well as to amend the Annex of Regulation (EU) No 231/2012 concerning the specifications for certain food additives.
