European Union (EU) * : Updates on the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1087/2012 of 21 December 2012, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has further updated the candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), adding 6 more substances to the list. DETAILS

2. According to REACH, chemicals, preparations and articles containing SVHC are subject to authorisation and notification requirements. The candidate list will be regularly updated when additional substances are identified to be SVHC. Interested parties are urged to check their potential legal obligations resulting from the inclusion of substances in the SVHC candidate list. A summary of the obligations linked to the candidate list can be found at this link:
