European Union (EU)* : Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of Certain Welded Tubes and Pipes of Iron or Non-alloy Steel Originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 651/2008 of 19 December 2008, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China.  The notice can be accessed through the following link:

DETAILS

2. Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China has been imposed since 20 December 2008 and the current duty in force is 90.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty.

3. Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in section 2 of the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at mid-night of 20 December 2013.
