European Union (EU)* : Imposition of Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of High Tenacity Yarn of Polyesters Originating in the Mainland of China
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 250/2010 of 2 June 2010, the Council of the EU has published a regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of high tenacity yarn of polyesters originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS
- Salient points are set out below-
(a) Product Coverage | : | High tenacity yarn of polyesters (other than sewing thread), not put up for retail sale, including monofilament of less than 67 decitex originating in the Mainland of China, currently falling within CN codes 5402 20 00. |
(b) Rate of Duty | : | 9.8% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for eleven companies with individual duty rates ranging from 0% to 9.8%). |
(c) Effective Date | : | 2 December 2010 |
(d) Duration | : | 5 years |
(e) Collection of Duty | : | Amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed since 3 June 2010 shall be definitively collected at the rate of the definitive duty. The amounts secured in excess of the definitive rates of the anti-dumping duties shall be released. |
