European Union (EU)* : Public Consultation on the Proposals for Identification of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) to be Placed on the Candidate List under REACH
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 47/2010 of 27 January 2010, the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is now conducting a public consultation on the proposals for further identification of SVHC to be placed on the candidate list under REACH. The list of proposed substances and the details of the consultation are available at the press release ECHA/PR/10/03 issued by the ECHA and the relevant consultation webpage, which can be accessed through the following links respectively :

All interested parties are invited to submit scientific comments and information on these 8 substances proposed to be placed on the candidate list of SVHC. The deadline for the public consultation is 22 April 2010. Comments and information can be submitted through the above webpage.
