European Union (EU)* : Restrictions on the Use of Certain Chemicals in
Cosmetic Products

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 523/2009 of 19 October 2009, the European Commission (the Commission) has adopted two Directives extending the deadline on the use of certain chemicals in hair dye to 31 December 2010, and amending the restrictions and conditions of use of certain chemicals used in cosmetic products.
