Union (EU)* : Restrictions on the Use of Certain Chemicals
in
Cosmetic Products
Further to Commercial
Information Circular No. 534/2008 of 30 October 2008, the European Commission
(the Commission) has adopted a Directive to prohibit the use of certain
chemicals and specifying the conditions of use for some others in cosmetic
products including nail products and hair dyes. Details are set out
in the Commission Directive 2009/6/EC (the Directive), which can be
