European Union (EU)* : Amendment to Annex I to Council Regulation Applying a Scheme of Generalised Tariff Preferences

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 414/2008 of 11 August 2008, the European Commission (the Commission) has published a regulation on 17 December 2009 amending Annex I to Council Regulation No. 732/2008 of 22 July 2008 applying a scheme of generalised tariff preferences (GSP) from 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2011. The regulation can be accessed through the following link :

DETAILS

  1. Under the GSP scheme, the EU accords tariff preferences to a range of agricultural and industrial products originating in 171 developing economies. For details of the GSP scheme, please refer to Commercial Information Circular No. 414/2008. Annex I to Council Regulation (EC) No. 732/2008, which lists out the beneficiary economies of the Community's scheme of generalise tariff preferences, is now amended and replaced by the Annex to the regulation of 17 December 2009.
