European Union (EU)* : Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of Polyester Staple Fibres Originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 469/2008 of 17 September 2008, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of polyester staple fibres originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China. DETAILS

  1. Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of polyester staple fibres originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China has been imposed since 18 March 2005. The rate of duty is 49.7% of the net, free-at-Community-frontier price before duty (except for six companies with individual duty rates ranging from 4.9% to 26.3%).

  2. Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in section 2 of the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire on 18 March 2010.
