European Union (EU)* : Public Consultation on the Proposals for Identification of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) to be Placed on the Candidate List under REACH
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 549/2008 of 6 November 2008, the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is now conducting a public consultation on the proposals for identification of the second batch of SVHC to be placed on the candidate list under REACH. The list of proposed substances and the details of the consultation are available at the following webpage :

- All interested parties are invited to submit scientific comments and information on this second batch of 15 substances proposed to be placed on the candidate list of SVHC. The deadline for the public consultation is 15 October 2009. Comments and information can be submitted through the above webpage.
