European Union (EU)* : Notice of Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of Para-cresol Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 84/2008 of 29 January 2008, the European Commission has published a notice to announce the expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of para-cresol originating in the Mainland of China. The notice can be accessed through the following link :

DETAILS

  1. Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of para-cresol originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 21 September 2003. The rate of duty was 40.7% of the net, free-at-Community-frontier price before duty (except for one company whose individual duty rate was 10.8%).

  2. In the absence of duly substantiated request for an expiry review, the anti-dumping duty on the product concerned expired on 21 September 2008.
