European Union (EU)* : Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on
Imports of Furfuryl Alcohol Originating in the Mainland of China
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 273/2003 of 12 November 2003, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of furfuryl alcohol originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS

Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of furfuryl alcohol originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 1 November 2003. The current rate of duty is EUR 250 per tonne (except for four companies with individual duty rates ranging from EUR 84 to EUR 160 per tonne).

Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in section 2 of the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire on 1 November 2008.
