Commercial Information Circular No. 446/2007

European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission (the Commission) has adopted three Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain brassieres, infrared home saunas, video recording apparatus, digital cameras, digital video camera recorders, personal digital assistants (PDA) with global positioning system (GPS) receivers, four-wheeled motor vehicles designed for handling trailers in distribution centres and jojoba oil to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
