Commercial Information Circular No. 431/2007

European Union (EU)* : Imposition of a Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Dicyandiamide Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 321/2006 of 18 August 2006, the Council of the EU has published a regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of dicyandiamide originating in the Mainland of China. The regulation can be accessed through the following link :

  1. Salient points are set out below –
(a) Product : 1-cyanoguanidine (dicyandiamide), falling within CN code 2926 20 00.
(b) Rate of Duty : 49.1% of the net, free-at-Community-frontier price before duty.
(c) Effective Date : 16 November 2007
(d) Duration : Five years
