Commercial Information Circular No. 373/2007

European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission (the Commission) has adopted six Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain women's swimwear made of synthetic fibres, children's romper bags, seat covers in motor-cars, plastic 'mock-up' of mobile phone, self-inflatable mattress for outdoor use, vessel of the 'catamaran' type, reduced-size model replicas of football stadium, dried leaves and plant tips of rooibos plant, bulbs of garlic, breath freshening strips and cheese to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
