Further to Commercial

DETAILS
- Tariff quotas
allow Community industries to acquire products which are inadequate
or non-existent in the Community. Products eligible for tariff quotas
can be imported into the EU at reduced or zero tariff rate up to the
quota limit within a specified period of time. The normal tariff rate
will resume when imports reach the quota limit or upon expiry of the
quota validity period. Details of the amendments to the quotas are
set out in the regulation and its annexes. The amendments mainly cover
chemical products and shall apply from 1 July 2007.
