European Union (EU)* : Amendment to Annex II to Council Regulation Applying a Scheme of Generalised Tariff Preferences

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 242/2005 of 7 July 2005, the European Commission has published a regulation on 2 June 2007 amending Annex II to Council Regulation (EC) No. 980/2005 of 27 June 2005 applying a scheme of generalised tariff preferences (GSP). The regulation can be accessed through the following link :

DETAILS

  1. Under the GSP scheme, the EU accords tariff preferences to a range of agricultural and industrial products originating in 178 developing economies. For details of the GSP scheme, please refer to Commercial Information Circular No. 242/2005. Annex II to Council Regulation (EC) No. 980/2005, which lists out the products covered by the GSP scheme, is now amended and replaced by the Annex to the regulation of 2 June 2007.
