Commercial Information Circular No. 185/2006

European Union (EU)* : Anti-dumping Proceedings Against Imports of Recordable Compact Disks Originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 174/2006 of 6 May 2006, the European Commission (EC) has just made available to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government the provisional general disclosure document which sets out the material facts and consideration relevant to its decision of not imposing provisional anti-dumping measures against imports of recordable compact disks (CD-Rs) originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong. Copies of the document are available from the Trade and Industry Department on request.

  1. The EC has invited interested parties to submit written comments on the general disclosure document. In order for any written comments to be evaluated by the EC before it makes the final determination of whether to impose definitive anti-dumping measures against CD-Rs originating in Hong Kong, they must be sent by 6 June 2006 to the following address:
