European
Union (EU) *: Classification of Certain Goods in the
Combined Nomenclature
The European Commission
has adopted a Regulation concerning the classification of certain goods
in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN).
The Regulation stipulates the CN classification of certain alcoholic
preparation to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States'
customs authorities. Details are set out in Commission Regulation (EC)
No. 223/2005, a copy of which is attached
(pdf format) to this circular for reference.
