European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature
The European Commission has adopted two Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain goods to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities. The goods concerned are certain medicament, beer made from malt, plastic tubes and preparation of crushed avocado pulp (guacamole). Details are set out in Commission Regulation (EC) Nos. 1966/2005 and 1967/2005, copies of which are attached to this circular for reference.
