Commercial Information Circular No. 170/2005
European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature
The European Commission has adopted two Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain goods to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities. The goods concerned are certain audio-frequency amplifier, radio-broadcast reception apparatuses, colour monitor, automatic regulator for controlling paper quality, pre-cooked wheat flour noodles with spices, and tea bags. Details are set out in Commission Regulation (EC) Nos. 634/2005 and 635/2005, copies of which are at Attachments I and II (pdf format) of this circular for reference.
