European Union (EU)* :Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature

The European Commission has adopted two Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain surf/diving suit and children's leisure footwear to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities. Details are set out in Commission Regulation (EC) Nos. 2343/2003 and 2345/2003, copies of which are at Attachments I and II (pdf format) of this circular for reference.

*  :The EU Member States are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
