European Union (EU)* :Amendment to Regulation Setting Maximum Levels for Certain Contaminants in Foodstuffs
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 72/2001 of 28 March 2001, the European Commission has adopted an amendment to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 466/2001 to lay down the maximum levels for patulin allowed in certain foodstuffs including fruit juices, solid apple products and baby food. The maximum levels will apply with effect from 1 November 2003. Details are set out in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1425/2003, a copy of which is attached (pdf format) to this circular for reference.
