European Union (EU)*: Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)
The European Commission (EC) has adopted two Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain goods to ensure the uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities. The goods concerned are mixture of enzymes and portable baby-monitoring device. Details are set out in the Commission Regulations (EC) Nos. 645/2001(pdf format ) and 646/2001,(pdf format ) copies of which are appended to this Circular for reference.
