European Union (EU) : Removal of the Mainland of China from Non-market Economy Status in Anti-dumping Proceedings

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 71/98 of 23 May 1998, the Department has received information that the European Commission (EC) has prepared a draft claim form for companies claiming market economy status in anti-dumping proceedings initiated against the mainland of China and Russia. A copy of the draft claim form is appended (pdf format) to this circular for traders' reference. The Department is checking with the EC on the final version of the claim form and will keep traders informed when available.
