European Union : Imposition of Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Glyphosate Originating in the People's Republic of China
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 138/97 of 20 September 1997, the European Union (EU) has published a regulation in the Official Journal of the European Communities to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of glyphosate originating in the People's Republic of China (PRC). A copy of the regulation is appended to this circular for reference. Details are as follows : -
2.| (a) Product : | Glyphosate, falling within CN codes ex 2931 0095 and ex 3808 3027; |
| (b) Rate of Duty : | 24% of the net, free-at-community-frontier price before duty; and |
| (c) Effective Date : | 19 February 1998. |
