Union (EU) : Imposition of Definitive Anti-Dumping Duty on Imports of
Powdered Activated Carbon Originating in the People's Republic of China
(PRC)
Further to Commercial
Information Circular No. 156/95 of 8 December 1995 concerning the extension
of the provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of powdered activated
carbon originating in the PRC, the European Union has published a regulation
(the Regulation) in the Official Journal of the European Communities to
impose definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the product originating
in the PRC. A copy of the Regulation is appended
to this circular for reference. Details are as follows :
- Product
: Powdered activated carbon originating in the PRC falling within CN
code ex 3802 1000;
- Duty Rate
: ECU 323 per tonne (net weight); and
- Effective Date
: 6 June 1996
