The National Development and Reform Commission; the People's Bank of China; the Office of the Central Leading Group for Cyberspace Affairs; the Ministry of Public Security; the Ministry of Transport; the Ministry of Commerce; the State Administration for Industry and Commerce; the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine; and the China Food and Drug Administration of the People's Republic of China jointly released on 16 January 2017 certain guiding opinions on strengthening the development of credit system for e-commerce.
