The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning New and Amended Rules of Origin since 1 July 2017 for Goods Entitled to Zero Tariff Preference under the "Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement"

The General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China issued a notice on 12 June 2017 to promulgate the rules of origin for new item of goods entitled to zero tariff preference under the "Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement" (CEPA), which will take effect on 1 July 2017, and make amendments to the rules of origin for two items of goods currently entitled to zero tariff preference under the CEPA. Please refer to the Appendix (pdf format) for the notice (available in Chinese only).

2.For details of the "CEPA Rules of Origin for Goods Applying for Zero Tariff in the First Half of 2017", please refer to CIC No. 427/2017 dated 31 May 2017 issued by this Department.
